Please be advised; Canton Township has issued a Snow Emergency for Sunday, Dec 11 2016.
Effective Sunday, December 11, 2016 at 1 p.m., until Monday, December 12, 2016 at 10 p.m., a Snow Emergency is hereby declared for the Charter Township of Canton.
In accordance with Public Act 104 of the Acts of 1981, during a declared Snow Emergency all motorized vehicles are to be removed from all streets during the effect of the order to allow for proper plowing and salting of roadways. Said order shall minimize the potential for motor vehicles accidents throughout the township due to snow and adverse conditions.
All Canton residents are advised to comply during the period of this emergency. Failure to comply could result in the ticketing and/or towing of non-compliance vehicles.
